Investors at MIPIM World 2023 had the privilege of hearing from our colleague, Gabriela Cruz, on sustainability trends in real estate development. During her keynote speech, she emphasized the importance of sustainable practices in the industry and their potential to drive profitable outcomes.
Gabriela Cruz highlighted the need for transparent conversations around sustainability and profitability in real estate. She emphasized the importance of incorporating circularity and sustainability at the community level, including in the natural environment, urban infrastructure, buildings, and people.
In her speech, Gabriela Cruz outlined key strategies for achieving high levels of sustainability in real estate developments, defining clear principles to guide design and decision-making, and the pillars for sustainable buildings, such as bioclimatic design, choice of materials, and reverse and repurpose techniques.
Cruz also discussed Aguaduna, a significant project that puts these sustainability strategies into practice. The project serves as an example of how sustainable practices can be integrated into real estate development.
Our co-founder, Manuel Matutes Mestre, reiterates that we are one step closer to positively impacting the Bahia area.
